Getting to the party
How can I get to Budapest from neighboring countries?
Here are some approximate travel times from nearby cities:
Vienna to Budapest − 2h 20min
Take the direct EuroCity or Railjet trains. Reservations are required for Railjet trains and are optional for EuroCity.
Bratislava to Budapest − 2h 40min
Take the direct EuroCity train. Reservations are optional.
Zagreb to Budapest − 6h 10min
Take the direct InterCity train. We recommend reserving beforehand.
Belgrade (Beograd) to Budapest − 8h
You can take direct EuroCity or Fast Trains. Reservations are required depending on the train you take.
Ljubljana to Budapest − 8h 30min
There’s 1 direct Fast Train per day. We recommend reserving a seat although it’s only optional.
Bucharest to Budapest – 15h 50min
You can take a direct Euro Night overnight train. You’ll need to reserve a seat or bed. There are connections on towards Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Italy, Poland, Switzerland and Turkey.

Once I’m in Budapest, how do I get to A38?
A38 is very well-connected. You have plenty of options with public transport, but the best option is to take the tram: Tram numbers 4 and 6 (also runs during the night), stops very close to the venue.
What’s the exact location of the party?
The party will take place at Ship A38. It’s located beside Budapest’s Petőfi bridge, on the Buda side of the river.
At what time does the party start?
Doors will open at 9 p.m. on 8th August 2016
Buying and receiving tickets
How much are tickets?
Tickets are FREE for holders of an Eurail or Interrail Pass. Tickets for non-pass holders cost 15 euros each, including booking fee.
When do tickets go on sale?
Registration for tickets will open on this website on 1st July 2016. Don’t forget to attend on Facebook for all the latest news and to see who else is going.
How do I get my tickets?
Starting 1st July, you can register for your tickets at www.eurailparty.com. Follow the details to claim your free admission!
Help – my tickets haven’t arrived yet! What should I do?
After a successful registration, tickets should be automatically e-mailed to you within 24 hours. Please make sure to also check Junk E-mails in your mailbox. If you haven’t received your tickets within 24 hours, please contact the event organizer: email@example.com
How old do I need to be?
Age limit is a minimum of 18 years.
Can I enter using only my Eurail Pass?
No. You’ll need to show the ticket you registered for at www.eurailparty.com together with your valid ID/Passport to authorized personnel at the club. Entry will be permitted only to those with a ticket registered on their name, matching their ID/Passport. This applies to all attendees.
Can I swap tickets with a friend?
Yes. But if it’s a free ticket, only another Interrail or Eurail Pass holder can use it. If you have swapped your tickets, please inform us at firstname.lastname@example.org , as the name on the ticket needs to match your ID/Passport and the registration list.

Will there be food?
Yes. A38 has an on-board restaurant.
Will there be lockers?
This is a party for backpackers! We’ll look after your gear 😉
Can I bring my mom?
Yes, if you’re a Eurailer and you registered for your free ticket, you can bring a +1 for free. If you have a paid ticket, your friend/mom will need to purchase a ticket.
